Product Introduction:

By changing the radial position of the standard tool to the gear blank or changing the tooth groove width of the standard tool, the tooth profile cut out is a gear with a non-standard involute tooth profile.

When cutting gear teeth, changing the radial position of the standard tool on the gear blank is called radial displacement (Figure 1 Cutting of standard gears and shifted gears); changing the slot width of the standard tool is called tangential displacement. The most commonly used is the radial displacement, and the tangential displacement is generally used for the displacement of bevel gears.

Cutting When using the generative method to process gears, if the center line NN of the rack-shaped cutter is tangent to the index circle of the gear blank and performs pure rolling, the processed gear is called a standard gear. If the center line of the rack-shaped tool is not tangent to the index circle of the gear blank, but another index line parallel to the center line of the tool N' N' (machine tool pitch line) is tangent to the index circle of the gear blank and made For pure rolling, the processed gear is called a radial displacement gear. When machining a radially shifted gear, the distance that the center line of the rack-shaped tool moves relative to the index circle of the gear to be processed is called the displacement, which is represented by xm, where x is called the displacement coefficient, and m is the modulus. It is usually stipulated that when the center line of the tool moves away from the wheel center, x takes a positive value, which is called positive displacement; when the center line of the tool moves closer to the wheel center, x takes a negative value, which is called negative displacement.

Transmission Type:

Radial displacement gear transmission (types of displacement gear transmission in Figure 2) can be divided into high displacement gear transmission and angular displacement gear transmission.

High displacement gear transmission is also called displacement zero transmission, which is characterized by the displacement coefficient of the two wheels x1+x2=0. Therefore, the meshing angle a' of the high-shift gear transmission is equal to the pressure angle a, that is, a'=a﹔the pitch circle coincides with the index circle, that is, r'=r; center distance a' is equal to the center distance a of the standard gear transmission. That is a'=a. However, due to changes in the tooth tip height and tooth root height of the displacement gear, the high displacement gear transmission can be used where the center distance is equal to the standard center distance, and the bending strength of the pinion tooth root needs to be improved and wear is reduced.
